The Rizzler Sticking Around In AEW
Big Boom AJ was back in the ring at AEW Revolution and now he’s revealed why he, Big Justice, and The Rizzler will be sticking around.
Big Boom AJ made his in-ring debut for AEW back in November 2024 on the Full Gear pre-show where he picked up a win over QT Marshall. The Costco Guys proved to be popular and Tony Khan kept Big Boom AJ, Big Justice as well as internet sensation The Rizzler around.
At Revolution, Big Boom AJ was back in the ring as he teamed with Orange Cassidy and Mark Briscoe to defeat Johnny TV and MxM Collection. The Rizzler got a huge reaction from the LA crowd as he made an entrance with Orange Cassidy while dressed like the former AEW International Champion.
Tony Khan Signs Costco Guys & The Rizzler
Speaking at the post-show media scrum, Big Boom AJ was asked how much he wanted to do in the pro wrestling world and he revealed that he’s sticking around in AEW:
How much deeper does everybody want me to get? [Laughs] I thought I was deep. Yes, I am officially with AEW right now. Undefeated. I am under contract right now as is Big Justice and The Rizzler. So yeah, we are going to be here for a while.
I know there are some names on the AEW roster that I might be gunning for. Some guys out there who don’t quite believe in what I believe in, the happiness, the positivity, the boom. So yeah, you never know how deep this thing is going to go.
