Bizarre Reason The Miz Wants Match With NBA Star
The Miz is calling out an NBA All-Star for his actions after he hit a big shot during a crucial playoff game.
Anybody who has followed The Miz during his 20-year career in WWE knows he’s a big sports fan, whether he’s supporting the NFL’s Cleveland Browns, the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, or his love of golf.
The Cleveland Cavaliers were in a huge NBA Conference Semifinals matchup when Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers hit a huge three-pointer with 1.1 seconds left to win Game 2 of the series and go up 2-0 over Miz’s Cavs.
After he hit the shot, the Pacers All-Star guard Haliburton celebrated by making the “big balls” gesture on the court.
Triple H went on X/Twitter to comment on Haliburton’s shot by writing “Game Over” as a reference to Triple H’s in-ring career as “The Game” and Haliburton’s shot ending the game.

The Miz Issues Challenge To Tyrese Haliburton
Even though the gimmick wasn’t that successful, there was a period in The Miz’s career where he would brag about his balls being massive. It was a way to get a reaction from the crowd after other wrestlers made fun of him for it. There were even “My Balls Are Massive” shirts that WWE sold because of Miz’s gimmick.
In response to Haliburton’s celebration. The Miz went on X/Twitter to challenge Haliburton to a match.
Stealing my gimmic.

Haliburton vs The Miz book it!

Tyrese Haliburton has been featured on WWE shows because he’s a lifelong fan. He was also at the Royal Rumble in Indianapolis earlier this year. While it seems possible that Haliburton could compete in WWE in the future, it likely won’t be while he’s an active NBA player.
The comments that The Miz made were likely tongue-in-cheek, but the shot by Haliburton likely hurt Miz as well since it put Miz’s Cavaliers in a deep hole in the NBA Playoffs.
