The Miz Attempts To Justify His WWE Heel Turn

The Miz thinks that he didn’t do anything wrong by attacking his beloved WWE tag team partner R-Truth.

Over the last 18 years, The Miz has been known as one of the biggest bad guys (or heels) in WWE. There have been some times in his career when the fans cheered him, but for the most part, Miz is known for his dastardly actions to try to win matches any way that he can.

Earlier this year, The Miz reformed his Awesome Truth tag team with R-Truth, which led to the two WWE veterans becoming the World Tag Team Champions in a Ladder Match at WrestleMania 39.

During their run as a team, there were plenty of hijinks that led to a confused R-Truth putting them in tag team matches and making decisions without consulting Miz. Eventually, thanks to urging from Karrion Kross, The Miz turned on his friend Truth on the September 30th edition of Raw.

While appearing on the Rich Eisen Show, Miz made it clear that in his opinion, he’s the good guy (or babyface) in the situation.

“I feel like I’m a good guy. I’ve done everything right. R-Truth is the one that has been the heel the whole time, in my opinion. You don’t believe me? I mean, the guy has put me through so much. So much. And then sometimes you just need to turn on someone to make them realize the error in their ways. That’s the truth right there.”

Documentary About The Miz’s WWE Career Made Mark Henry Emotional

The Miz’s life and career in WWE was the focus of an A&E Biography this year. After watching it, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry was emotional because of how far Miz has come in his career.

“I cried watching Miz’s documentary. I’ve been preaching Miz gospel for three or four years now. I’ve been on the bandwagon. I told y’all there’s not many people that can hold the microphone and do what he does. He’s at the top of the order.”

“They treated him like s**t, like they treated me like s**t when I first came into wrestling. But both of us were able to turn wrestling on its ear, become successes, and become experts. And that’s the difference — Miz is an expert, and we should hope that we can find another Miz in the next 10 years.”

Up next for The Miz in WWE could be a rivalry with the Wyatt Sicks group since the Final Testament group and The Miz were attacked by the Wyatt group on Raw in Philadelphia. That attack led to Uncle Howdy dropping Miz ith the Sister Abigail neckbreaker.
