The Hardys Reignite Legendary WWE Feud After TNA Title Win
The Hardys are set to run things back one last time with one of their biggest rivals after capturing TNA gold once again.
At Slammiversary on July 20th, The Nemeths put the TNA Tag Team Championship on the line in a four-way ladder match against The Hardys, First Class, and The Rascalz. And if you think you’ve seen everything in multi-man ladder matches, then Jeff Hardy had something up his sleeve.
The chaos saw all of the ladders at ringside used and destroyed, leaving no immediate way for any team to claim the title. Jeff Hardy then grabbed a switch, and a huge rope ladder was released. The Hardys then took out Ryan and Nic Nemeth with Twists of Fate while chairs were wrapped around the Nemeths’ necks. Jeff Hardy then climbed the rope ladder to win the title, giving The Hardys their fourth reign as TNA Tag Team Champions.
But the real story was yet to come.
Bully Ray Challenges The Hardys
Bully Ray – better known to WWE fans as Bubba Ray Dudley – made his presence felt as he came to the ring and congratulated the new champions. He went over their long history together before pitching one final match between Team 3D – The Dudley Boyz – and The Hardys at Bound For Glory.
Bully Ray hinted that the match would be his final match with D-Von Dudley as he noted Bound For Glory would be the last time he asks D-Von to get the tables.

Many fans have already noted the interesting timing of the confrontation, as it came days after AEW began the tease of the reunion of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. Copeland and Cage were known as Edge and Christian in WWE and were the third team, alongside The Dudleyz and The Hardys, who helped revolutionise tag team wrestling in the early 2000s with their iconic TLC matches.
