The Future Is Bright For WWE Star According To CM Punk
CM Punk is excited about the future regarding a rising star on the WWE Raw brand.
Ever since he returned to WWE in November 2023, CM Punk has been involved with some big names like Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins. However, Punk missed over six months of action due to a torn triceps, so he hasn’t gotten the chance to wrestle new opponents.
When it comes to the WWE main roster, there are several young talents that many people believe could become main event performers in the future. One of those names that quickly comes to mind for most people is the Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.
While speaking at a Fanatics Live signing at Fanatics Fest NYC, CM Punk joined the long list of people who see a bright future for Bron Breakker in WWE.
“I think he’s dangerous because he’s a Steiner. The future looks bright as long as he can navigate the water and deal with all the pressure. Everybody looks at him and says the same thing, ‘Bonafide future world champion and superstar.’
That’s a lot to deal with when you’re young and first starting out. He has a good head on his shoulders. I predict good things for him.”
The 26-year-old Breakker has only been wrestling on television for less than three years. In addition to winning the Intercontinental Title this year, Breakker is a former two-time NXT Champion and NXT Tag Team Champion as well.
CM Punk Interested In Teaming Up With John Cena
During the same event, CM Punk made it clear that he would love to tag with John Cena during Cena’s WWE retirement tour in 2025.
During their careers, Punk and Cena crossed paths many times for several big matches, including their most famous match at Money in the Bank 2011 when Punk beat Cena to become WWE Champion, which led to one of the biggest ovations of all time.
