Tonight’s Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite marked the start of the promotion’s holiday lineup, setting the stage for the rest of the weekly specials, starting with next week’s Dynamite Holiday Bash.

While tonight’s show had some amazing matches on offer, the card for next week’s show is shaping up to be an exciting one as well. With the special set to be hosted at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, England, many of the promotion’s top stars are expected to be at the show.

The AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR are scheduled to defend their titles on the show, while former Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks, are set to officially reunite The Elite next week.

Don Callis challenged the Young Bucks on AEW Dynamite tonight

Don Callis tried to recruit Jack Perry into his Family tonight after his match with Kazuchika Okada. However, they ended up attacking him when he refused to join, which prompted The Bucks to come to their friend’s aid.

After the brawl, Callis challenged The Young Bucks to a trios match, provided they can find a partner for themselves. They tried to recruit Luchasaurus to their team, but he guided them towards Kenny Omega.

Matt and Nick Jackson approached Omega for the match and he accepted Don Callis’ challenge. This will their first match together in over two years and the winner of the match will earn a million-dollars in cash.
