The Bloodline Win WWE Gold Before SummerSlam

The Bloodline

Ahead of SummerSlam, there was a huge title change on SmackDown as gold finally came back to The Bloodline in WWE.

The 26th of July edition of SmackDown saw a huge tag team gauntlet match take place to find new number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship held by DIY. Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline entered that match last and took out the Street Profits to win and claim their title shot.

On SmackDown in Cleveland ahead of SummerSlam, The Bloodline cashed in that title shot with Jacob Fatu picking up the win for his team with a moonsault and implant DDT on hometown hero Johnny Gargano. Unsurprisingly, Fatu and Tonga had more than a little help throughout the match from Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa.

The Bloodline Give Solo Sikoa WWE Titles

After the huge win, Fatu and Tonga presented their WWE Tag Team Title belts to the man they call Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa. The win marks the first WWE gold in the careers of Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga.

Solo Sikoa will have the chance to add gold to the group when he challenges Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam.
