The Bloodline Kick One Star Out, Welcome New WWE Star In
The Bloodline did not have a good WrestleMania 40 and as they look to regroup and move on, they’ve added a new face from outside WWE.
Night one of WrestleMania 40 saw The Rock and Roman Reigns team up to defeat Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in an epic tag team match. That win was supposed to set the stage for an easy night two as it would be ‘Bloodline Rules’ when Reigns defended his WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes.
However, the threat of Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and The Rock was neutralized by Jey Uso, John Cena, Seth Rollins, and The Undertaker who made sure The Bloodline would not be a factor. As a result, Cody Rhodes finished his story to defeat Reigns and capture the WWE Championship.
The Bloodline Gets New Member & New Leader On WWE SmackDown?
On SmackDown, Paul Heyman, Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso were without Roman Reigns and Heyman explained the need for accountability within the group. Sikoa took the microphone from Heyman and noted there would be accountability as former New Japan Pro Wrestling star and Bullet Club founder Tama Tonga attacked Jimmy Uso from behind.
Sikoa set up a steel chair in front of Uso’s face while Heyman pleaded that this was not what Roman Reigns wanted. Despite that Sikoa hit his running hip attack through the chair and into the face of Uso. As Sikoa and Tonga posed, Sikoa demanded Heyman join them and when the WWE Hall of Famer tried to call Roman Reigns, Sikoa took his phone and stomped on it.
Later on, during a backstage interview, Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga confronted Heyman with Tonga telling him “By orders of The Tribal Chief” but Heyman questioned what that meant.
With Roman Reigns set for another WWE hiatus, it would appear Solo Sikoa might well have assumed control of The Bloodline, unless he’s doing the bidding of a more Final Boss. And while WWE’s Avengers may have assembled for Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, it’s looking more likely that there might be a case of Bloodline Civil War when Roman Reigns returns.
