The Bloodline Make Major WWE Title Change

The Bloodline

Solo Sikoa has proved his credentials as the current Tribal Chief as he makes a major change to The Bloodline’s WWE title reign on SmackDown.

On the SmackDown ahead of SummerSlam, The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu defeated DIY to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship. At SummerSlam, the group attempted to help Solo Sikoa to win the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes with Fatu going as far as to splash Rhodes through the announce table, causing his own injury.

In the end, Roman Reigns returned to WWE to take out Solo Sikoa who had assumed leadership of The Bloodline in Reigns’ absence which allowed Rhodes to retain his gold.

Solo Sikoa had previously addressed the WWE Tag Team Title situation noting that they could be defended under the ‘Freebird Rule’ with Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu all being able to compete as champions but on SmackDown in Washington D.C. Sikoa made a change.

Title Moved Around The Bloodline

Sikoa told Jacob Fatu that if he was to be the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief’s personal enforcer then he couldn’t be a tag team champion and was forced to hand over his title to Tonga Loa. Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa defended the gold against the Street Profits on the show with The Bloodline retaining the title with more than a little help from Jacob Fatu who was watching from ringside.

As The Bloodline continued their assault, DIY attempted to even the odds but they found themselves on the wrong side of a beatdown led by Jacob Fatu as well.
