“That Hurt Me” – Cody Rhodes Details Heartbreaking WWE Backstage Encounter Becky Lynch

Cody Rhodes and Becky Lynch shared a fun conversation on What Do You Want To Talk About? With Cody Rhodes.

In that conversation, they discussed several topics, including Seth Rollins, their careers, legends such as Paul Heyman, and the Late Dusty Rhodes.

They even had a fun banter about Roman Reigns’ driver winning the ‘Driver of the Year’ despite turning up for work only for six days!

Cody Rhodes revealed a story when Becky Lynch’s actions hurt him

While speaking to Lynch on the podcast, the duo discussed their lives on the road. The American Nightmare explained to the audience that usually superstars get eggs for breakfast, and almost always are provided with an omelet station.

At one point, years ago, when Lynch was in NXT, Becky Lynch cut him off at the omelet station line, and Rhodes (who was Stardust at that point) did not like it at all.

I was waiting in line at the omelet station. I was there early. I had some tenure with WWE, not that that should ever matter.
I had something going on, and then she just got right in front of me. [I didn’t, like, skip you or anything]. I think you did and then you asked the guy that you did.

I am 99.9% positive. Not only did you skip me, maybe you didn’t ask for 12 egg whites. I think you muttered under your breath when I left the room. Who cares? It’s stardust. [I did not]. No, she didn’t say that part at all. But you did ask for the egg whites. How petty am I? That hurt me so much during that period. Cause everything hurt me during that period.

But it hurt my heart because I had nothing. I was insecure. You guys were all coming up again, super talented.

He explained that it was petty of him to feel that way, but at that point, his time with WWE wasn’t at its peak, and the NXT youngsters were extremely talented.

On another fun note, Becky Lynch’s mother suggested that Cody Rhodes should run for president!
