Tessa Blanchard’s Contract Issue Dismissed By TNA

Tessa Blanchard TNA

Tessa Blanchard was back in the ring for TNA at Genesis but her claims about her status have been dismissed by those in the company.

At Final Resolution, Jordynne Grace took on Rosemary but the match came to a premature end when a masked assailant attacked Grace. The mystery attacker then revealed themself to be Tessa Blanchard.

There were some eyebrows raised then when it emerged that TNA was looking to work with Blanchard again despite her acrimonious departure from the company while still TNA World Champion in June 2020. Blanchard was fired after refusing to defend the title in the midst of the global pandemic. Reports also suggested Jordynne Grace pushed back against working with Blanchard.

In early 2020, Tessa Blanchard was the subject of several allegations of bullying and racism, which included claims she spat at La Rosa Negra before calling her a racial slur. However, La Rosa Negra shared a picture with Blanchard in 2023 indicating she had forgiven her.

Tessa Blanchard Believed To Be Under TNA Contract

Despite Grace’s apparent reservations, she faced off with Blanchard at Genesis with Tessa Blanchard picking up a major win. While Jordynne Grace appears to be on the way out of TNA, Tessa Blanchard’s own status has been under the microscope after she claimed she was not under contract with the promotion.

Fightful Select has offered more detail regarding Blanchard’s claims noting that there are people in TNA who dispute them. A number of TNA sources are said to have indicated that Blanchard is under contract and that she wouldn’t be factored into significant plans if she wasn’t.
