Tessa Blanchard Attacks Top TNA Star In Shock Return

TNA will be hoping controversy really does create cash as former world champion Tessa Blanchard made her shock return to the company.

In early 2020, Tessa Blanchard was the subject of several allegations of bullying and racism, which included claims she spat at La Rosa Negra before calling her a racial slur. However, La Rosa Negra shared a picture with Blanchard in 2023 indicating she had forgiven her.

But there are clearly more issues regarding Blanchard as in August 2024 WWE star Chelsea Green called out Tessa Blanchard for her behaviour, branding her an “egotistical bully.”

There were some eyebrows raised then when it emerged that TNA was looking to work with Blanchard again despite her acrimonious departure from the company while still TNA World Champion in June 2020. Blanchard was fired after refusing to defend the title in the midst of the global pandemic. Reports also suggested Jordynne Grace pushed back against working with Blanchard but it looks like that is the feud TNA wants.

Tessa Blanchard Takes Out Jordynne Grace

At Final Resolution, Jordynne Grace took on Rosemary but the match came to a premature end when Grace was attacked by a masked assailant. The mystery attacker then revealed themself to be Tessa Blanchard.

One report has noted the belief is that Blanchard will have a short program with Jordynne Grace before Grace signs with WWE after her current TNA deal expires. As a result of her return to TNA, CMLL have already confirmed Blanchard and her partner there Lluvia have vacated the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship.
