Swerve Strickland Returning To AEW As Major Debut Teased

Swerve Strickland AEW

Swerve Strickland’s AEW return has been confirmed but all eyes will be on who else might turn up alongside the former world champion.

At All Out Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page unnerved fans with their latest blood-soaked clash. The match saw the pair utilise just about every weapon imaginable, and that was before Page put a hypodermic needle through his rival’s cheek.

The rivalry between Page and Strickland stretches back over a year and their matches have grown increasingly violent, but even so, the Unsanctioned Lights Out Cage Match left fans divided.

Adam Page has continued to appear on AEW TV after he picked up the win but Strickland took time off. However, the former AEW World Champion has clearly caught the attention of someone.

In Strickland’s debut, MVP made his debut in AEW confronting Prince Nana suggesting Strickland’s recent failures have been down to his management. MVP followed up by introducing Shelton Benjamin to AEW as he looks to build his Hurt Syndicate in the company.

Swerve Strickland Living His WrestleDream

Now on Dynamite Title Tuesday, a vignette has aired advertising that Swerve Strickland will return to AEW at WrestleDream on October 12th. With Strickland not set for a match on the show, MVP might well want to finally talk business with the star.

A piece of the puzzle is so far still missing for MVP as former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is also expected to debut in AEW in the very near future. Whether or not Lashley appears at WrestleDream and shares the ring with Swerve Strickland remains to be seen.
