Swerve Strickland Blasts Booker T Following AEW Dynasty

Swerve Strickland entrance AEW Dynasty

The spat between Booker T and Swerve Strickland continues.

During a recent interview with Vlad TV, Swerve Strickland addressed his WWE exit and suggested an unnamed member of Hit Row was responsible for the group being fired. The star said he’d been told that the person involved had been “aggressive” and this caused heat with Vince McMahon.

Elsewhere, he also took issue with Booker T who had previously suggested he’d been treated fairly, commenting “That’s not what happened when Vince [McMahon] said the n-word in front of you.”

On an episode of his podcast, Booker T hit back in no uncertain terms, commenting that he was disappointed in Strickland. The WWE Hall of Famer criticised Strickland for going on Vlad TV in the first place, saying he got played. Booker went on to discuss his record when it comes to representation and battling racism, suggesting he’d opened doors for stars such as the former AEW World Champion.

Swerve Strickland Offers Blunt Response To Booker T

Once the cameras had stopped rolling at AEW Dynasty, Strickland addressed fans and took a shot a Booker in the process. He said he doesn’t speak on representation, he goes out and proves it, closing by saying “f*ck Booker T.”

At Dynasty, Swerve Strickland came up short as he challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. Following another wild brawl, The Young Bucks made a surprise return to attack Strickland, leaving the way clear for Moxley to retain the title.
