Huge Stipulation Made For Swerve Strickland & Adam Page At AEW All Out
Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland have been at war for months in AEW and now they’re set to run it back at All Out.
There is perhaps no more personal feud in AEW history than the one that has played out between Swerve Strickland and Adam Page. Strickland picked up a win over Page at WrestleDream in October 2023 but that only ignited the issues between the two men.
Strickland paid a visit to Page’s house, hovering over his baby as he sent a very strong message to the former AEW World Champion. They met again at Full Gear in a Texas Death Match which made headlines after Page drank Strickland’s blood but ultimately Strickland picked up another win.
Following a three-way match for the AEW World Title at Revolution in March 2024 between Page, Strickland, and Samoa Joe, Page disappeared from TV. While Joe retained his title in that match, Swerve Strickland went on to win that title which only pushed Adam Page over the edge when he returned to AEW in July.
Determined to get his hands on Swerve Strickland, Adam Page entered the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and All In’s Casino Gauntlet match – both ways to earn a shot at the AEW World Title but proved unsuccessful in both endeavours.
Swerve Strickland lost his AEW World Title to Bryan Danielson in the main event of All In with Page making his presence felt at ringside during that match. And now on Dynamite in Champaign, Illinois, the two hated rivals have got up close and personal again.
Swerve Strickland & Adam Page Locked In For All Out
Adam Page kicked off Dynamite by defeating Tomohiro Ishii and after that, he was confronted by Strickland. The two men went back and forth with Page noting Strickland was a “piece of sh*t” and noted that he had never been able to beat him by himself.
Swerve Strickland offered to remedy that by challenging Page to a Steel Cage match at All Out on September 7th.
