Surprising WWE Name Throws Shade At The Rock

The Rock isn’t the only boss in WWE.

After cementing his heel turn in February 2024, The Rock dubbed himself the Final Boss and set about making Cody Rhodes’ life as miserable as possible.

As their rivalry became ever more personal, Rock pinned Rhodes on night one of WrestleMania 40 and the two men have repeatedly teased a singles match since. The message from the Hollywood star is clear, “You can’t be number one if you’ve never beaten me.”

However, a new name has claimed to be the new boss in town.

In a Behind The Scenes video shared by WWE, Logan Paul said if Rock is the “Final Boss,” then he’s the “New Boss.” The YouTube star said WWE’s new era belongs to him.

“We’re talking about Dwayne Johnson here, The Final Boss, I’m the new boss. There is a new man in town and his name is Logan Paul. Like Triple H said, this is the era of Logan Paul. He said it at the beginning of the show. Some people were like, ‘Oh he said it’s the Netflix Era,’ but he said it’s the era of Logan Paul. He told me that’s what he was going to say,”

The Rock’s WWE Future Unclear

While he talks a big game, Logan Paul is set to miss out on a match with John Cena at WrestleMania 41. According to the most recent report on the situation, Paul asked for the match, but his request was turned down.

Instead, it’s been claimed that Cena will face Cody Rhodes as he bids to win the World Championship one more time. But if that match goes ahead, it means that the long-rumoured bout between Rhodes and The Rock is now off.

This led to a further report that suggested a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns isn’t dead, although it might not take place at WrestleMania.
