John Cena’s retirement show will take fans through an emotional journey that no amount of Farewell Tour can prepare one for.

Despite knowing that he will have his final match on December 13th, 2025, fans are hoping that this isn’t the last they see of The Champ in the ring. However, he has clarified that he is 100% done after Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The Champ will face Gunther in his retirement match, and reportedly, he will be given as much time as he needs for it.

December 13th, 2025, will become a phenomenal date in WWE’s history. To commemorate it in the right way, the global juggernaut will make the best of it. According to PWInsider, the Stamford-based promotion has some surprises in the works for SNME.

WWE sources say that the company is working on having some surprises for this weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.

However, John Cena has requested that SNME not become a tribute show. Despite that, fans can expect some returns or debuts during the show that will showcase the legacy Never Seen 17 has built in the pro-wrestling industry.
