Fans Surprised As Charlotte Flair Overlooks Classic In “Greatest Ever” List

Charlotte Flair WWE Royal Rumble press conference

Charlotte Flair has looked back fondly on three particular matches.

Although she’s very much still at the peak of her powers, Charlotte Flair has wrestled and beaten the very best the wrestling industry has to offer, notching up a CV that ensures she’ll be remembered as one of the all-time greats.

But some of Flair’s matches stand out above all others.

During a quick interview with Adam Glyn, Flair was asked which of her matches she was most proud of and would show to someone who has never seen her wrestle. In response, Flair listed off three, but fans might be surprised to see that her WrestleMania 39 match with Rhea Ripley wasn’t one of them.

At the time, the match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship was heavily praised, with some calling it the best women’s WrestleMania match ever.

“The evolution match with Becky [Lynch]. Survivor Series [with] Ronda Rousey and probably Asuka [at] WrestleMania 34.”

Charlotte Flair Is The Goat

On a recent episode of his podcast, The Undertaker dubbed Charlotte Flair “The Goat” after her return to action at the Royal Rumble.

In the wake of Flair’s comeback and Rumble victory, Undertaker praised her mindset and passion for wrestling even after achieving so much in her career to date.

Prior to competing at the Rumble, Flair had been out of action since suffering a major knee injury in December 2023. Flair’s time away from the ring also marked a difficult period in her private life as her marriage to Andrade came to an end.

Flair is set to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41.
