Stone Cold Steve Austin Makes Shocking Claim About Vince McMahon

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon is one of the best boss-employee rivalries put together in wrestling.

Being the foul-mouthed talker that he was, Austin often berated McMahon, who usually served as a commentator in the mid-90s despite owning WWE.

Their rivalry only intensified when Vince transformed into a heel, adopting the Mr. McMahon persona in 1997.

The majority of their feud transpired between 1997 and 1999, with McMahon often finding himself at the receiving end of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s numerous Stunners.

The 61-year-old wrestler recently sat down with Chris Van Vliet for his Insight podcast, where he discussed his time in wrestling and life after retirement.

Austin also shed light on his rapport with the former WWE boss, labeling him as the individual who took the worst stunners when asked about it.

Easily, Vince is the worst.

Stone Cold Steve Austin Praises Austin Theory And Pat McAfee Stunner Sells

Stone Cold Steve Austin delivered hundreds of Stunners without differentiating between the genders. Such was WWE’s Attitude Era!

Vince McMahon‘s then-wife, Linda, too, fell victim to it once. Austin discussed the one Stunner he hit on her, and revealed feeling bad that it was poorly landed.

While at it, he also praised Austin Theory for selling the move well, calling it premier, and Pat McAfee, too.

Oh, premier. I don’t know what the kid’s doing now. Is he still in WWE? [He is]. Okay, yeah. Good kid. I mean, I thought, Man, the sky was the limit for him. He took a great one.

McAfee took a great one, just the fade back, money. And of course, when he tumbled out a ring, he was still drinking the beer while he’s laying on the mat. F*cking classic. What an entertainer. And he was thinking about it, you know, I knew his ad lib. He wasn’t planning that. It just happened, and it was straight money.
