Sting’s Final AEW Match Confirmed

Sting standing in AEW ring

Sting has done it all in his iconic wrestling career but now with one more match left to have, the world knows just who he’ll be facing.

It was back in October 2023 that Sting announced the final match of his career would take place at Revolution. That show will take place on the 3rd of March in Greensboro, North Carolina – a city synonymous with the career of The Icon.

In the run-up to his final bout, Sting has continued teaming with Darby Allin, and with the duo undefeated as a pair in the company and the return of rankings, their success could no longer be denied and they received an AEW Tag Team Championship match.

Sting won his first title since 2011 when he and Allin defeated Big Bill and Ricky Starks to win that gold. But it seems there is another duo in the company that wants to see the back of the star.

The Young Bucks – Nicholas and Matthew Jackson – have returned to AEW with a whole new attitude as their EVP roles have gone to their head. After staring down Sting and Darby Allin previously things took a darker twist while the new AEW Tag Team Champions were celebrating that success.

The Jackson brothers pounced with white baseball bats attacking the pair and getting their white suits covered in Allin’s blood.

Darby Allin Confirms Sting’s Final Match

Now on Dynamite in Cedar Park, Texas, The Young Bucks defeated Top Flight and declared themselves the top contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championship. Darby Allin came to the rescue after the match when it looked like The Bucks were going to do the unthinkable and take out Tony Schiavone and gave the EVPs some home truths.

Allin finished by confirming that he and Sting will take on The Young Bucks in Greensboro as come Revolution it will indeed be showtime.
