Sting Pays Tribute To Tony Khan As AEW Career Ends

Tony Khan Sting

Sting is now a former wrestler having the final match of his career at AEW Revolution and he has thanked Tony Khan for his last run in the business.

Sting brought the curtain down on his legendary career at AEW Revolution where he had his final match. The Icon teamed up with Darby Allin one last time to defend the AEW Tag Team Championship against The Young Bucks with Sting picking up the win as he made Matt Jackson tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock.

That brought an end to a three-year run for Sting in AEW that saw him go undefeated in the ring and have some classic moments in the company.

Now taking to social media, Sting has paid tribute to Tony Khan for his run in AEW that brought his career to a fitting end:

Still on cloud nine from last Sunday. But it would not have been possible without @TonyKhan. Thank you for the last three-plus years, for your friendship… for everything. Thank you Tony!

What Did Tony Khan Say About Sting?

Tony Khan believes that Sting’s AEW run is the greatest comeback in sports history as he returned to the ring after six years out of action.

The former WCW star had previously been a part of WWE but after suffering an injury at the hands of Seth Rollins in 2015 it was widely believed the star would never wrestle again.
