Sting Announces “2025 Or Never” Tour

Sting

The legendary Sting is giving wrestling fans one more year to meet him in person before he takes off the face paint for good.

After a spectacular pro wrestling career that lasted over 30 years with several years of inactivity in between, WWE and TNA Hall of Famer Sting retired at AEW Revolution in March 2024.

Sting’s retirement match saw him team up with Darby Allin one more time to defeat the Young Bucks and retain the AEW Tag Team Titles. It was a match that was praised heavily while Sting’s two sons also got involved to help their dad beat the Bucks. Sting won every match he had in AEW – all of them with Allin as his partner, and if AEW has a Hall of Fame in the future he’ll obviously be in that Hall of Fame too.

It was announced earlier this month that Sting plans to stop making public appearances in the classic face paint in 2025.

“I have enjoyed meeting fans at events around the world. As much as I have loved interacting with you all in the traditional Stinger war paint, I’ve decided that 2025 will be my last year appearing in full gear. I guess it’s 2025 or never. Wow. Tough to speak that out.”
