Steve Austin Names Rival Who Took “Crappy” Stunners
Steve Austin has singled out Vince McMahon as the worst recipient of his famous finishing move.
The ‘Stone Cold Stunner’ became infamous during the Attitude Era and beyond, with ‘The Texas Rattlesnake’ delivering the devastating manoeuvre to everybody from The Undertaker to future US President Donald Trump before celebrating his achievements with the fans and a few cans of ice cold beer.
Whilst some opponents were praised for their way of selling the move, Austin has highlighted long-time rival and former WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, as the individual who was least adept at taking the stunner.
Speaking recently on ‘The Schmo‘, Austin also had praise for the work of The Rock and Scott Hall:
“Vince took a lot of crappy ones, Rock took some epic ones. Scott Hall took an epic one in Toronto, wherever that was at WrestleMania, whatever it was 18. Been a bunch of good ones.
Anytime you’re able to hit a Stunner on anybody regardless of the sell, that’s a good day at the office.”
Steve Austin Refuses To Rule Out WrestleMania Appearance
‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin has refused to rule out an appearance at WrestleMania 41.
The momentous Premium Live Event is set to emanate from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on 19th and 20th April, not too far from Austin’s current residence in Nevada.
Austin has confirmed that he will be in Sin City for WrestleMania weekend and noted that ‘anything can happen’ when pressed about a potential appearance at the ‘Showcase Of The Immortals’.
