Steve Austin Gives Interesting Response When Asked About Podcast Return

Steve Austin WWE Talk

The legendary “Stone Cold” Steve Austin could be getting back into podcasting based on a comment he made to a fan.

As a pro wrestler, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin will always be remembered as one of the greatest pro wrestlers ever.

Austin was the driving force behind WWE’s boom during the Attitude Era in the late 1990s and is often mentioned as one of the GOATs (Greatest of All Time) in pro wrestling history.

Following his wrestling retirement in 2003, Steve Austin surprisingly came back to have one more WWE match 19 years later against Kevin Owens, but otherwise, he stays busy doing other things.

While Austin has hosted TV shows, starred in movies, and spent a lot of time on his farm, he has also been praised a lot as a podcast host.

In the 2010s, Austin hosted “The Steve Austin Show” podcast that ended in 2018. Meanwhile, he also did Broken Skull Sessions video podcasts, usually with WWE superstars and legends. Those stopped being made in 2022.

After posting a #TBT (Throwback Thursday) post on Instagram, a fan asked Austin when are we getting a new podcast episode? Austin had this reply to that:

Gimme a couple weeks.

Based on Austin’s response to give him a couple of weeks, it likely means something is in the works. What isn’t known is if he’s talking about the return of Broken Skull Sessions or some other new podcast.

As WWE fans know, the company is producing podcasts all the time with Cody Rhodes, Stephanie McMahon, Logan Paul, The Undertaker, and others hosting podcasts with new episodes that usually come out every two weeks or so.

Steve Austin Could Interview CM Punk On His Podcast

If Steve Austin did bring his podcast back, one man that WWE fans would want to see him interview is CM Punk. Austin and Punk are friends, which Austin has talked about in the past.

“Me and Punk are friends from way back. He was just a young kid. He was a Stone Cold fan back in the day.

I’m a CM Punk fan. I’m a fan of his work and his promos. He can light somebody up.

So, you know, we don’t talk a whole lot. We’ll send each other a text every now and then, but when we’re probably really, really good friends and don’t talk a whole lot. We have a lot of mutual respect for each other.”

Regarding a potential in-ring comeback, Steve Austin apparently told people during WrestleMania 41 weekend that he felt he “had one more in him,” so perhaps there is one more match left in Stone Cold’s legendary career.
