Top WWE Star Overwhelmed By Steve Austin Praise

Steve Austin WWE What

Steve Austin had some great things to say to a WWE superstar who had one of the best matches at WrestleMania 41.

The opening match at WrestleMania 41 Sunday was a triple threat match that saw IYO SKY retain the Women’s World Title in an exciting triple threat match with former champions Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair.

It was such a great match that even the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer gave it five stars on his match rating scale, which is heavy praise, especially since Meltzer had never given a WWE women’s match five stars before that.

WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was involved during all of WrestleMania 41 weekend.

In a video that WWE posted featuring behind-the-scenes footage, Austin told Sky that her match was “killer,” a great match, and very physical. Austin congratulated Sky. They shook hands while Sky thanked Austin, she said she was honored and she thanked Austin for the kind words.

On X/Twitter, Iyo Sky commented on the video, encouraging everyone to follow their dreams.

I would never have imagined five years ago that I would be getting incredibly cool accolades from Stone Cold Steve Austin in the future.

Life is beautiful and WWE is full of dreams.

Steve Austin Rejected Logan Paul’s Bizarre Idea

Even though Stone Cold didn’t wrestle at WrestleMania 41, it was an eventful weekend for the Rattlesnake, which included a second Hall of Fame induction for his WrestleMania 13 match with Bret Hart. In addition to that, Steve Austin crashed his ATV into a ringside barricade on the way to the ring, and it knocked a fan down at ringside.

Logan Paul also revealed that he offered Steve Austin $1 million to appear in a Prime bottle to promote Paul’s Prime energy drink, but Austin turned that down.

We offered Steve a million dollars to be in the Prime bottle. He didn’t do it. So instead he ran a poor woman over with an ATV. We offered him a million like bro, do you want to get in this bottle? I don’t think he even considered it for a second. Imagine it, he face-revealed the Prime bottle and it’s Stone Cold?! He could have done anything, which is why it would have worked.

Perhaps if Paul had offered $10 million, then the deal could have happened; however, $1 million wasn’t enough to entice the Rattlesnake to promote Prime in that way.
