Stephanie Vaquer’s Next Women’s World Title Defense Announced (SPOILER)
Stephanie Vaquer’s next title defense date has been decided.
The WWE Women’s World Championship was vacated by Naomi in August, later setting up a match between Vaquer and Iyo Sky at Wrestlepalooza.
La Primera beat The Genius of the Sky against all odds, becoming the world champion on the main roster for the first time.
2025 has been a significant year for Vaquer, considering she officially joined RAW only in May.
Since winning the title in September, the 32-year-old has defended it on several occasions, the latest taking place on the December 15 episode of the red brand against Raquel Rodriguez.
The match unfortunately ended in a no-contest after Nikki Bella interfered and attacked both superstars, forcing Rodriguez to enter concussion protocol.
Bella’s attack came after her unsuccessful attempt at capturing the championship at Survivor Series: WarGames.
Stephanie Vaquer To Defend Title In A Triple Threat Match
Stephanie Vaquer will defend the Women’s World Championship on December 29.
WWE has been pre-taping shows, allowing its talent and staff to take a break during the holidays.
On December 19, the company taped the episode for the December 22 episode in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
During the show, Nikki Bella made her presence felt and cut a promo, setting up a triple threat match with Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez.
On the same episode, Rodriguez faced Bayley in a singles match. It ended up in a defeat for her, as she was engaged in a disagreement with her Judgment Day stablemates, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.
A couple of weeks ago, Rodriguez and Morgan were involved in a backstage segment that hinted at tensions brewing between the duo.
