Stephanie Vaquer To Face Major WWE Star After Main Roster Call Up

Stephanie Vaquer is set to face a current champion when she officially leaves NXT.

After leaving CMLL in July 2024, Stephanie Vaquer made a whirlwind start to life in WWE with NXT.

The star was immediately thrown into the main event picture with the developmental brand before appearing in the 2025 Royal Rumble. She then went on to win the Women’s North American Championship and NXT Women’s Championship, becoming the first woman to hold the titles simultaneously.

After giving up the North American Title, Vaquer shockingly lost the Women’s Championship to Jacy Jayne on May 27. It’s since been reported that Stephanie Vaquer will be heading to Monday Night Raw, while Jordynne Grace will begin her main roster career on SmackDown.

Stephanie Vaquer To Face Top Star

A follow-up report from Cory Hays on Podyslam said that Vaquer is expected to officially become part of Raw on June 9. Furthermore, she’ll be facing Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky again “sooner rather than later.”

The pair first met on the April 21 edition of the show, but the match ended in a no-contest.

“After the show (Tuesday’s NXT), I got a message saying that Stephanie is going up to WWE Raw and PWInsider confirmed it today that Stephanie Vaquer is indeed WWE Raw-bound.

So we’re going to have Stephanie Vaquer showing up soon, probably on the June 9 episode of WWE Raw from Phoenix, Arizona after Worlds Collide.

Today before we went on the air, I got a message that said expect IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer sooner rather than later, so they’re going to be running that match back again very soon,”

In addition, it’s been reported that Ricky Saints will also be moving to the main roster after losing the North American Title to Ethan Page. However, there’s no word on whether he’ll appear on Raw or SmackDown, only that he’ll debut “imminently.”
