Stephanie Vaquer got to have a special moment with Rhea Ripley in the WWE ring.

The main event of WWE NXT Homecoming in Orlando on September 16th featured the women’s division because of how impactful the women have been in terms of the growth in NXT.

That match saw the superteam of former NXT Women’s Champions Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Lyra Valkyria (filling in for Tiffany Stratton) teaming up to beat Fatal Influence – NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx. Ripley hit Riptide on Jayne for the win.

During the match, there was a spot that drew a huge reaction as Vaquer performed her Devil’s Kiss move. It’s a move where Vaquer uses her legs to wrap up the arms of her opponent, and then Vaquer smashes her knees into the mat in a thrusting motion, which draws a big pop from the crowd. NXT announcer Booker T helped to popularize the move by yelling while Vaquer does it.

In the NXT Homecoming match, Rhea Ripley did the Devil’s Kiss spot at the same time, which only led to more cheers from the fans because of how popular Ripley is.

When Fightful asked Stephanie Vaquer about it, Stephanie made sure everybody knew that she loved it.

“I love it. Now, in NXT, [Rhea Ripley] doing the Devil’s Kiss was amazing. I love that.”

Stephanie Vaquer Wants To Face Rhea Ripley In WWE

At WWE Wrestlepalooza on September 20th, Stephanie Vaquer will be in her biggest WWE match to date as she faces Iyo Sky for the vacant Women’s World Title. Vaquer earned the title shot by winning a battle royal at Evolution, but Naomi announced her pregnancy, so Vaquer’s title shot at Clash in Paris was delayed until now.

Looking ahead, Stephanie Vaquer spoke about wanting to face Rhea Ripley and another former champion.

“One-on-one with Asuka. I really want because it’s not been one-on-one. Asuka or Rhea, Mami versus Mamacita.”

If Vaquer wins the Women’s World Title at Wrestlepalooza then she’ll likely have both Ripley and Asuka coming after her, so Vaquer will likely get to have those dream matches soon.
