Stephanie Vaquer Seemingly Confirms Legitimate Serious Injury After WWE RAW

Stephanie Vaquer may be dealing with a legitimate injury after all.

With WWE, it is difficult to tell these days which injury storyline is kayfabe and which one is genuine. Speaking of which, Season 2 of WWE: Unreal will extensively share behind-the-scenes details of Seth Rollins’ injury at Saturday Night’s Main Event XL, which turned out to be a ruse.

On last week’s Raw episode, Vaquer competed in a triple threat match, defending her Women’s World Championship against Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez.

She ultimately won the bout by pinning Bella after getting rid of Rodriguez, who had hit Bella with her Tejana Bomb finisher.

This week, however, the 32-year-old was seen wearing a medical walking boot before addressing the WWE Universe.

After she came to the ring, Stephanie Vaquer addressed her injury but vowed that she would not let it hamper her dominant run in the women’s division.

The commentators mentioned that she suffered an ankle injury during last week’s triple threat match.

Stephanie Vaquer Shares Evidence Of Legitimate Injury

Stephanie Vaquer’s evening did not end with the addressal, but it got worse.

Immediately after her promo, she was blindsided by Raquel Rodriguez, who dropped her with a heavy shot to the back of her head.

‘Big Mami Cool’ then grabbed her with the injured ankle, smashing it on the ring surface a couple of times and hitting a Tejana Bomb before the referees and medical staff arrived.

Vaquer continued receiving assistance backstage, but was again taken out by Rodriguez. Raw GM Adam Pearce warned Rodriguez and ordered her to be escorted out of the building.

Later, Stephanie Vaquer took to Instagram to share a story, sharing a video of her ankle heavily taped to an ice bag.

The injury may have been exacerbated due to Raquel Rodriguez’s attack. Currently, nothing much can be said about Vaquer’s potential return date.
