What Stephanie McMahon Told CM Punk Before New WWE Show

Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon has sent a heartfelt message to CM Punk thanking him for among other things the big, sweaty hug they shared.

Stephanie McMahon is taking a trip to the places important to some of WWE’s icons and legends and she’s starting with CM Punk.

“Stephanie’s Places” will be a pro wrestling take on “Peyton’s Places,” where NFL legend Peyton Manning revisits iconic NFL moments with an array of famous faces. McMahon noted that the show is a joint enterprise between ESPN, WWE, and Omaha Productions.

Now the date for the first episode airing has been revealed with Stephanie McMahon meeting up with the man who once referred to her as Vince McMahon’s “idiotic daughter” during a promo that’s been replayed once or twice over the years, CM Punk. That episode is set to be released on ESPN + on March 26 and will see McMahon catch up with Punk at 2024’s SummerSlam to discuss his shock return to WWE.

CM Punk Inspires Stephanie McMahon

And it seems a lot of water has flowed under the bridge as Stephanie McMahon sent a heartfelt message to CM Punk ahead of that first show airing. McMahon took to social media to thank Punk for his inspiration:

“If your dreams don’t scare the sh*t out of you, you need bigger dreams.” Thank you @CMPunk for your inspiration (and of course, the big, sweaty hug!) I’m honored to have you as the first guest of #StephaniesPlaces on @espn + this Wednesday! @WWE @OmahaProd

The episodes following the one centred on Punk will see Stephanie McMahon meet with Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Charlotte Flair, Roman Reigns, Pat McAfee, The Undertaker, and Triple H before she finishes the series off with John Cena.
