Stephanie McMahon has admitted that something changed in her relationship with Triple H when the pair got engaged.

There are plenty of quirks and anomalies in every relationship, but when you throw the wrestling business into the mix, things can get a whole lot weirder.

In the early 2000s, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H ended up dating and eventually married in October 2003. By then, however, they had been married and divorced on WWE television.

Speaking to Roman Reigns on What’s Your Story? Stephanie McMahon admitted that it was only when she got engaged to Triple H that she switched from calling him by his wrestling name to his real name:

When we first started dating, I knew him as Hunter. I only started calling him Paul when we got engaged. [McMahon was then asked if that was weird] Totally! Totally weird, he was Hunter.
