Stephanie McMahon Will Attend John Cena’s Final WWE Match
Ahead of the Survivor Series PLE, Stephanie McMahon sat down with Megan Morant to discuss Cena’s farewell match. Megan revealed Stephanie will be in attendance at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
She then asked The Billion Dollar Princess to describe her emotions going into Cena’s farewell match and how she’ll feel watching Cena wrestle for the last time in his career as a fan.
McMahon admitted she will feel intense emotions; however, she must maintain control since she’s also co-hosting Cena’s last show alongside Joe Tessitore.
Morant: You’re gonna be in attendance for John Cena’s final match. Have you thought at all about what kind of emotions you are going to experience as a fan in the audience?
McMahon: Well, I’m actually co-hosting with Joe Tessitore, so I’m gonna have to reign those emotions in a little bit. (From 14:47)
The WWE Universe was hoping that John Cena would walk into his retirement bout as a champion. However, he lost the Intercontinental Championship to Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series.
The San Diego crowd saw Liv Morgan make her surprise return during the Cena vs Mysterio match. Morgan entered the ring and, to everyone’s surprise, she slapped Mysterio, hinting that she’s turned on her boyfriend.
However, she ended up low-blowing Cena, which helped Mysterio capitalize and pin Cena to regain the Intercontinental Championship, which he lost to Cena a few weeks ago on RAW in Boston.
