Of course, one must keep in mind that while this is the biggest event in terms of attendance, it was also the first time WWE hosted SummerSlam for two nights. Previously, this event was only hosted for one night.
Previously, SummerSlam had recorded an audience of 78,927 fans at Wembley Stadium in London in 1992. This marks the highest audience in one night.
Apart from the number of fans, SummerSlam 2025 is John Cena’s last. Furthermore, Brock Lesnar returned at the event and took down The Champ, CM Punk won the World Heavyweight Championship only to lose it to Seth Rollins after five minutes due to the Money in the Bank cash-in, among other moments during the event.
