Fresh Hint Star Will Turn Down WWE To Stay With AEW

Daniel Garcia looks set to ignore interest from WWE in favour of signing a new deal with AEW.

The 25 year-old former ROH Pure Champion has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks amidst speculation that his current deal with Tony Khan’s organisation is set to expire in October.

Garcia made a shock return to the company at AEW All In on 25th August, helping to ensure that the man who had put him on the shelf, MJF, lost his AEW American Championship to Will Ospreay at London’s Wembley Stadium.

MJF defeated Garcia at AEW All Out on 7th September but the Buffalo native was able to extract some semblance of revenge by delivering a piledriver from middle rope to his cocky rival after the bout.

Rumours of a switch to WWE have now been muted, however, after Garcia was prominently featured on advertising for 26th October and 2nd November Collision tapings as well as the 27th November taping of Dynamite and Collision in Chicago, Illinois.

Major AEW Stars Expected To Take Break Following All Out

Garcia’s post-match attack at AEW All Out is expected to see MJF written off television for the near future as he heads to shoot a movie.

He isn’t the only man set to take time off, however, with former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland also reported to be headed for a break from in-ring action.
