A top superstar may take a break after losing a major match at WWE Night of Champions.

Since she arrived in WWE, Jade Cargill has been portrayed as a major star. The Storm held the Women’s Tag Team Championship twice alongside Bianca Belair.

Meanwhile, the 33-year-old recently qualified for the Queen of the Ring tournament after overcoming Piper Niven, Nia Jax, and Michin in a Fatal 4-Way, and then Roxanne Perez in a singles bout. She will now go head-to-head against Asuka at Night of Champions.

On a recent episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, NWA Hall of Famer Bill Apter predicted that The Empress of Tomorrow would emerge victorious in the Queen of the Ring final.

The veteran journalist pointed out that he had heard that Cargill had signed with a talent agency and may take a few-month hiatus from WWE.

Asuka is going to win that. Jade Cargill went out and became the finalist, she is really good and all that but I don’t think she has got the finesse like Asuka, as I think Asuka is a better worker than her. She has got more experience and plus, I hear in the wind that Jade has signed with a talent agency and maybe this is her way out for a few months.

WWE Planned For Jade Cargill To Win Major Title Before WrestleMania 41

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Creative had plans for Jade Cargill to win either the WWE Women’s Championship or the Women’s World Title ahead of WrestleMania 41.

However, these plans were scrapped after The Storm suffered an injury and was sidelined for a few months. The injury was explained on-screen as being the result of a mystery assault backstage.

Naomi was later revealed to be the attacker, as the two are now involved in a heated storyline.
