Star Returns to WWE After 1167 days
This former NXT star could be making a return after a long hiatus from the promotion.
According to Fightful Select, WWE is holding tryouts for at least five people, and one of them is Notorious Mimi (Known as Sloane Jacobs during her NXT run in 2022).
She was known for appearing on Apple TV’s show Monster Factory about the iconic wrestling school of the same name.
Jacobs has been wrestling in the independent circuit in promotions such as Ring Of Honor, Major League Wrestling, and GreekTown Pro Wrestling since her release from WWE in 2022.
But if things go right, Jabos could find herself back in the Stamford-based promotion after almost 4 years.
Other wrestlers who will be at the tryouts include Joshua Hillen, James Karnik, Regina Tarin, and 21-year-old Airica Demia. The latter notably trained with Jacobs under Natalya Neidhart and Tyson Kidd’s facility called Dungeon 2.0.
Matt Cardona Also Makes A Comeback To WWE From The Indies

Cardona was released by WWE in 2020 but has now returned to the company. He wrestled in a match with Kit Wilson on SmackDown and won after executing his finishing move, the Rough Ryder.
