Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre is scheduled for January 9th, 2026, in Berlin. The stipulation is set for the Three Stages of Hell.

More details have emerged about the stipulation. The first stage is a normal singles wrestling match. The second stage is a Falls Count Anywhere match, and finally, the third stage is set to be a Steel Cage match.

With the match fast approaching, fans have started speculating about the winner of the match.

Spoilers on the results of Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre

While nothing is set in stone with WWE matches which are subject to change until the last moment, the latest episode of Self Made Pro revealed that many inside WWE were leaning towards The Scottish Warrior to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship.

What I can say about this match is that there are significant voices in creative, actively pushing for Drew McIntyre to beat Cody Rhodes in this match. That was as of last week. By this point, I’d imagine the decision has been made as to where they’re going, but I know as of last week, there were significant voices, pushing hard for Drew McIntye to go over.

In fact, it was further noted that one of the world titles would change hands. CM Punk has retained the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker on WWE RAW. This potentially means that The American Nightmare will come up short against Drew McIntyre.

What I can tell you is that a title is going to change hands this week. One of the World Titles and there’s two major main roster World Titles matches.

A change of title could be a great way to begin the year and move into Royal Rumble 2026.
