SPOILER: Major IMPACT Championship Changes Hands During Tapings, Another Vacated; Tournament Set
Next month, IMPACT Wrestling will be holding their Overdrive pay-per-view, but the main event has already been revealed.
During tapings, Frankie Kazarian cashed in his X-Division Championship, giving him the ability to challenge for the IMPACT World Championship against Josh Alexander, which was named the main event for November’s Overdrive PPV.
With the X-Division title being vacated, a tournament to decide a new champion will be held, with the finals also taking place at Overdrive.
In other spoilers, Bully Ray will become a more consistent character on the promotion’s programming.
Another major title would change hands as well, with The Kingdom losing the Tag Team Championship to Heath Miller and Rhino. It has also been confirmed that the match will air in the next few weeks. After going through surgery, Rhino took several months off, but is now back in full-time action.
IMPACT Wrestling’s Overdrive pay-per-view is Friday, November 18 in Louisville, Kentucky.
