Special Episode Of WWE Show To Celebrate The New Day
The New Day will celebrate its 10th anniversary in style.
After losing their way as singles stars, Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods came together as a team in late 2014, debuting as The New Day that November.
Despite some initial struggles and creative missteps, the trio went on to become a dominant force with with E and Kingston becoming World Champions, while Woods was King of the Ring in 2021. However, it was as a tag team that the group really cemented its legacy holding the tag team gold for a then-record 483 days.
The popular trio hit trouble in March 2022 when Big E suffered a broken neck and he hasn’t wrestled since. While more recently on Raw, Woods, and Kingston have found themselves at odds with the former’s behaviour growing ever-more erratic, sparking speculation the pair could split.
The New Day To Celebrate On Raw
During the November 4th episode of Raw, General Manager Adam Pearce told Kofi Kingston, he’d be dedicating a whole episode of the show to celebrating the New Day. Although the star said the issues between himself and Woods would be fixed by the big night, that hasn’t quite been the case.
Fall-out or not, it has been announced by Advanced Television that the celebratory episode will air on December 2nd.
WWE will honour the 10th anniversary of one of its most popular factions, The New Day. Since their epic debut in 2014, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E have captivated fans worldwide with their electrifying energy and the power of positivity.
On December 2nd, WWE invites fans to join in the celebration of a decade of positivity with a special tribute to The New Day’s legacy on Monday Night Raw.
The report adds that WWE will be releasing a variety of digital content across its platforms including a special photo gallery, a compilation of the group’s best matches, and an exclusive sit-down interview with the trio on YouTube.
