Special Appearance Confirmed For WWE NXT [Spoiler]

Another TNA star is heading to NXT.

The September 10th edition of NXT will feature the long-awaited in-ring debut of Giulia. The former Stardom star is set to face Chelsea Green after clashing with the star seven days earlier. The match is Giulia’s first step towards a Women’s Title match with Roxanne Perez on October 1st when the show moves to the CW Network.

In another huge match, Jordynne Grace has laid down an open challenge for her Knockouts Title.

The show is also set to feature a mystery opponent for North American Champion Oba Femi. The angle was set up by a post on the NXT Anonymous social media account which showed Tony D’Angelo paying off a mystery figure while commenting he hoped his problems were being taken care of.

According to Fightful Select, the mystery opponent is set to be TNA star Alex Hammerstone who is currently at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The star signed with TNA in early 2024 following a run with MLW where he won the World Championship.

Changes Made To NXT Tag Team Title Match

On September 9th it was reported that the Street Profits will challenge Axion and Nathan Frazer for the Tag Team Titles. The champions had been due to defend their titles against Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel of The Rascalz from TNA, but they are unable to compete due to “somewhat conspicuous circumstances,” according to General Manager Ava.

Three other matches have also been confirmed for the show with Ridge Holland taking on Duke Hudson, Je’Von Evans challenging Charlie Dempsey for the Heritage Cup, and Trick Williams and Pete Dunne will meet in a Last Man Standing Match.
