Solo Sikoa Botches Threatening Promo To WWE Faction

Solo Sikoa used the wrong name when he addressed his WWE SmackDown rivals.

In the main event of WWE SmackDown on December 19th, Solo Sikoa’s MFT team of JC Mateo & Tonga Loa challenged the Wyatt Sicks’ Dexter Lumis & Joe Gacy for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

While the two teams had a competitive match, it unsurprisingly ended in chaos due to other wrestlers on the floor. The match had no winner.

After the match, the Wyatt Sicks and Solo’s MFT group got into a big brawl at ringside. They were fighting in the ring as well. Talla Tonga went up top and hit a cross body block on the Wyatt Sicks guys and his teammates fell down too. Erick Rowan was back in with a dropkick and a clothesline to knock Talla out of the ring.

Rowan picked up Nikki Cross and Powerbombed her onto Talla on the floor. Solo Sikoa was back in with a Samoan Spike on Rowan. Howdy teased Sister Abigail on Solo, but Tama Tonga made the save. The teams got into a brawl again to end the show.

Solo Sikoa Refers To The Wyatt Sicks As The Wrong Name

The Wyatt Sicks group, consisting of Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, and Nikki Cross, is a tribute to the late, great Bray Wyatt. Howdy is Bray’s brother.

They didn’t name the group as The Wyatt Family because that was Wyatt’s group that he led with Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, and later, Braun Strowman.

In a backstage video posted on WWE’s social media channels, Solo Sikoa addressed his current rivals and called them The Wyatt Family.

“Alright, okay, alright. Fireflies, Wyatt Family, I am coming after you. You got lucky this time. Next time, it won’t be so lucky.”

Using the name “The Wyatt Family” isn’t a big botch by any means, but it is still a mistake, and WWE likely doesn’t want to confuse its fans when it comes to that group.
