Why Solo Sikoa Might Be The One To Dethrone Cody Rhodes As WWE Champion

Cody Rhodes stares down Solo Sikoa

A WWE Hall of Famer believes there’s only one man who can dethrone Cody Rhodes.

At Crown Jewel, Solo Sikoa pinned Roman Reigns as the New Bloodline overcame the former World Champion and The Usos.

The victory was a huge moment for Sikoa, as it marked arguably the most significant win of his career. In terms of big matches, the star had lost twice to Cody Rhodes in singles action through the summer, while he and Jacob Fatu lost to Reigns and Rhodes at Bad Blood.

During a recent episode of his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi reflected on Sikoa pinning Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. The veteran said Sikoa is now a made man after pinning the GOAT, which puts him in the perfect position to take the Undisputed WWE Title from Rhodes.

“Like I mentioned [on] the last podcast we had, Solo’s a made man. For that to happen, there’s definitely, we see plans within this kid [of] what can be the next level for him. We talked about, does he need a belt? Well, after this [pin] on Roman, I can see maybe Solo being the one to take it off of Cody.

I talked about maybe Roman will come back and take it off of Cody. But after seeing that, you beat the GOAT. I believe it was two or three spikes, but now, it’s like okay, you beat the GOAT, now you’re considered the GOAT. The GOAT-slayer. So who knows?”

Solo Sikoa Looking Beyond Cody Rhodes

While Rikishi thinks the new Tribal Chief could be gunning for Cody Rhodes, Solo Sikoa is determined to kill off the original Bloodline.

With Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn back on the same page following SmackDown, the quartet will do battle with Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tonga Loa, and Tama Tonga inside the famous WarGames double cage at Survivor Series.

Speaking after the show, Sikoa said his rivals had “messed up,” and there was a reason he walked away to start his own Bloodline.
