Solo Sikoa Achieves Historic Feat On WWE SmackDown
Solo Sikoa and his MFTs have been running wild on WWE SmackDown and have taken an issue with Sami Zayn ever since he took the United States Championship off Sikoa. They have interrupted numerous of his matches, leading to things coming to a boiling point.
After weeks of clashes between Sami and members of MFT, the Canadian wrestler challenged Solo and his MFTs to a traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Match. He recruited Rey Fenix, Shinsuke Nakamura, and the Motor City Machine Guns for the match.
Ever since the introduction of the WarGames match on the main roster, the 5-on-5 elimination match had taken a backseat before being revived this year. This was the first time the match had taken place since the 2021 edition of Survivor Series.
The match started incredibly well, and both teams looked to gain control of the match. Each of the teams got a lot of offense in, but neither could score an elimination within the first 10 minutes of the match.
Solo Siko became the Sole Survivor on WWE SmackDown tonight
Sami’s team earned the first elimination as Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin used a clever pinning combination to eliminate JC Mateo. Tama Tonga entered the match next and battled it out with the MCMG and Nakamura.
The Japanese wrestler looked to eliminate Tama but was distracted by Solo. He lost his focus, and Tama took advantage of the same to hit him with the Cut-throat to eliminate him and bring his team level.

However, it didn’t stay that way for long as Rey Fenix hit Tonga Loa with a Hurricanrana and turned it into a pin to make it 4v3 for his side. Tala Tonga then turned the tide for his side quickly afterwards.
He eliminated Alex Shelly after hitting him with a chokeslam on the ring apron and got rid of Chris Sabin with a wicked clothesline, making it 3v2 in favor of the MFTs. Things became even worse for Sami after Rey Fenix was eliminated by Tama Tonga, leaving him all alone.
Sami fought valiantly from here on and proceeded to eliminate both Tama and Tala Tonga, but Solo proved one too many opponents for him. Solo interruped a Helluva Kick from Sami and hit him with a Spike to become WWE’s latest Sole Survivor tonight.
