SmackDown Star Frustrated With WWE, Asks Fans For Support

WWE Triple H SmackDown

One SmackDown star has explained why their upset with WWE as they reach out to fans to support them.

John Cena is nearing the end of his WWE career with just a handful of dates left for the record-breaking 17-time WWE Champion.

Cena recently took to social media to stir up interest in a match with his old rival, AJ Styles. Triple H apparently listened to Cena and the fan support he drummed up to make that match official for Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia.

But another of Cena’s old rivals is feeling distinctly left out.

The Miz Wants Last WWE Match With John Cena

Speaking on UNLIKELY with Adrian Hernandez, The Miz explained that he wants fans to get behind the idea of him battling Cena one more time, and he’s upset that it’s unlikely to happen:

You know what? You know what the audience could do? The audience could say, ‘We want The Miz vs. John Cena.’ And I would love, I would love to have one more match. I’ve been talking about this since the retirement tour started. I was the first person to go, ‘Sign me up. I’m putting my name in the hat.’ When’s my number gonna get called? Maybe not. Never. Because there’s only five left. There’s only five more dates.

Every time I see John Cena backstage, I’m like, ‘Five more, four more, three more.’ That’s all we got. I have the rich history with John Cena. I do. I’ve been there from the beginning. And I don’t get a match? I don’t get a match? So, yeah, I’m pretty upset.

John Cena infamously battled The Miz in the main event of WrestleMania 27 in 2011 with the WWE Championship on the line. The match has been panned as one of the worst WrestleMania main events ever, as it originally ended in a double countout before The Rock interjected, restarted the match, and cost Cena the title.
