WWE has finally added a SmackDown superstar to its roster.

Talla Tonga made his first appearance in the company at Night of Champions, where he played a vital role in Solo Sikoa defeating Jacob Fatu for the United States Championship.

JC Mateo also made his presence felt in the match alongside Tama Tonga, who was returning from an absence due to injury.

Before becoming a WWE superstar, Talla Tonga appeared in various promotions, including AEW and TNA.

The 34-year-old’s bio on the company’s website reads as follows:

The powerhouse of The MFTs, Talla Tonga possesses incredible power that is rivaled only by his domineering presence. Solo Sikoa’s family got even bigger with the arrival of Tonga, the hulking brother of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa and son of WWE Hall of Famer Haku. Many have stepped to the giant, but few stay on their feet long enough to fell him. Be warned: If Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, or JC Mateo are nearby, Talla Tonga is lurking not too far behind.

Talla Tonga Competed On WWE SmackDown After Three Months

Talla Tonga has been portrayed as MFT’s muscle since making his debut in June.

The 6’8″ star defeated Jimmy Uso in his debut match on SmackDown on August 1. A week later, he teamed up with JC Mateo to beat the Motor City Machine Guns.

After not wrestling for three months, he was featured in a singles match on last week’s SmackDown episode against Rey Fenix, who had issued a challenge to him the previous week.

As expected, Tonga dominated the proceedings and defeated Fenix.

After the match, Sami Zayn entered the ring with a chair before the MFT could inflict more hurt on Fenix.

Meanwhile, Solo Sikoa will wrestle a mystery opponent on next week’s RAW as part of the Last Time is Now tournament.
