Shocking WWE Debut Costs Jacob Fatu U.S. Title At Night Of Champions

Jacob Fatu on WWE SmackDown

Jacob Fatu entered his match against Solo Sikoa as the favorite.

Their confrontation on the recent SmackDown episode saw Fatu come out on top, as he stood alongside Jimmy Uso against Sikoa and JC Mateo.

The cracks were already showing within the Bloodline. Sikoa’s “All Gas, No Brains” jab at Fatu did not sit well with the latter.

Fatu attacked the Bloodline leader at WWE Money in the Bank before parting ways.

Their match at WWE Night of Champions saw the fans rally behind Fatu, as expected.

Just as the United States Champion had gained the advantage, JC Mateo first interfered.

However, the most shocking incident in the match was the debut of Hikuleo.

The former New Japan Pro Wrestling star made his presence felt as he chokeslammed Fatu on the announcer’s table.

Solo then hit Jacob Fatu with the Samoan Spike to win the U.S. Championship for the first time.

WWE Night of Champions also witnessed the return of Tanga Loa, who was last seen at Survivor Series: War Games last year.

Tanga Loa remained on the sidelines for 212 days.
