Shocking WWE Alliance May Help Roman Reigns Dethrone John Cena
Roman Reigns could end John Cena’s Undisputed WWE Championship reign in an unexpected scenario.
The Original Tribal Chief held the Undisputed WWE Championship for 1,316 days before dropping the title to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.
Meanwhile, The Franchise Player ended The American Nightmare’s title reign at this year’s Show of Shows.
While Rhodes currently competes in the King of the Ring tournament for another shot at the title, Reigns has been absent since the RAW after WrestleMania 41.
On a recent episode of Notsam Wrestling, a fan suggested to WWE analyst Sam Roberts that The OTC could return to go after Cena and the title.
Meanwhile, The American Nightmare would get eliminated from the King of the Ring tournament by Jey Uso, leaving him out of the Undisputed WWE Title picture and with the dilemma of which side he would choose between his two former rivals, Cena and Reigns.
Roberts pointed out that in such a scenario, he thinks Rhodes would help The OTC dethrone Cena before fighting Reigns for the title.
Yeah, I mean, I would think the interest would be he helps Roman Reigns win and then he has to fight Roman Reigns. [1:12:43 onwards]
Ex-WWE Star Thinks Roman Reigns Will Retire Before 2030
On a recent episode of the Behind The Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, former WWE star Jonathan Coachman made a prediction about Roman Reigns future.
While addressing the lack of star power in the Stamford-based company, the former Interim RAW General Manager claimed The OTC would be retired by 2030.
Name somebody that you can say, ‘You know what? He or she is gonna be on the MSG marquee in five years to sell out Madison Square Garden.’ I don’t know that you have.
I’m saying in five years. Roman Reigns will be retired by then. Cody Rhodes, who knows? So, who’s gonna be the next guy?
