Shocking Prediction About Roman Reigns’ WWE Future

Roman Reigns, whether babyface or heel, is extremely over with the fans. This makes it possible for him to draw in money while making limited appearances.

When the former Undisputed WWE Champion worked as a heel, it was one of the most money-drawing storylines WWE had going on. It worked from Payback 2020 to WrestleMania 41. The entire heel run is credited to be some of WWE and Reigns’ top work.

He turned babyface at SummerSlam 2024 when he saved Cody Rhodes from the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline. Currently, he is working as a babyface but has maintained his stoic, serious character.

Roman Reigns might not ever become a heel again

The OTC is in a feud with The Vision, and instead of pursuing Seth Rollins, WWE is making him work with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

He took down Breakker and Reed at SummerSlam 2025 in a tag team match alongside Jey Uso. Now, he is booked against Reed for a singles match at Clash in Paris.

While he is working as a babyface, it seems that WWE now has hot babyfaces on the roster and no heel to actually match up to them.

Dominic DeAngelo and Magnum TA discussed the possibility of WWE turning Roman Reigns heel once again while speaking on Straight Talk with The Boss. Magnum TA revealed that The OTC will most likely not want to do the same again, considering the dates and work he had to put in.

He is making money with limited appearances and will aim to keep it that way.

We’ve seen the pinnacle of Roman Reigns. I don’t know that we’ll ever see anybody in that powerful of a position, dominant, again because not that he’s not capable of it, but I don’t think that he would have the the energy or synergy or drive to want to work and put in that many dates and that much time and and and what it takes to do all that at this station and what he’s been elevated to and how much money he’s making for, you know, for a sparse amount of appearances. Uh, you kind of, you know, it’s kind of funny.

You take that hungry, you know, young lion type, you know, I’m ready to go take on the world guy, climb the ladder and prove the point, and uh, you know, grab the brass ring. And once you got the ring, you can ride that ride for sure. But it’s the people aren’t on that same emotional ride. You’re not taking them on that same journey.

Roman Reigns has been taking frequent breaks from WWE to continue his Hollywood schedule.
