Shocking Finish Pitched For Goldberg Vs. Gunther
Gunther and Goldberg have been booked for the World Heavyweight Championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12, 2025.
The WWE Hall of Famer returned on the previous episode of WWE RAW, and challenged The Ring General for the championship. Their feud had already been teased at Bad Blood, and fans had speculated Gunther being Goldberg’s retirement match.
The only issue being raised about this match is that whoever loses will have their credibility hurt. However, Da Man can afford the loss, but The Ring General absolutely needs the win. Moreover, if this Goldberg’s final match, he might not dethrone the World Heavyweight Champion.
EC3 has a shocking suggestion for how Goldberg vs. Gunther should end
The outcome of the match has been an ongoing decision. It is quite difficult to make a prediction given both of them are incredibly strong competitors.
In fact, Da Man is still extremely fit and strong, and cannot be considered to be a weak opponent against The Ring General.

During The Wrestling Outlaws, EC3 suggested that Da Man should take charge as soon as the match begins, possibly with a Spear. Following that, he can attempt to down Gunther with a Jackhammer but The Ring General slips out. He follows through with a chokehold until the Hall of Famer passes out.
Ding, ding, ding! Wham, Spear! He does his whole thing, you know. He gets up. Here comes the Jackhammer to Gunther. He slides behind, pushes him off and hits his big Clothesline. He gets up, choke him and we’re done. That’s how I’d book it.
Chances are that Triple H will book Gunther to retain the championship, but it needs to be done without hurting Da Man’s final match.
