Shocking Claim Made About Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon WWE

Vince McMahon pushed the pro-wrestling industry beyond regional boundaries, and some at the risk of his own life.

The Big Man led the global juggernaut through two of its most successful eras, The Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression.

He left the company in 2024, but his impact continued to echo through the years.

Vince McMahon did not enjoy professional wrestling

For someone who made professional wrestling what it is today, it’s difficult to believe that he was not fond of him.

However, Bill Apter shed some light on McMahon’s personal feelings about the industry on The Wrestling Time Machine on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge. He stated that while The Big Man had the ability to make electrifying, creative angles, he wasn’t fond of professional wrestling as such.

Nobody could promote it the way he did. He caught lightning in the bottle, and he knew what to do with it. But everybody I talked to, even the guys that worked backstage and all that, just said he wasn’t really fond of professional wrestling, but look what he did to it.

Vince McMahon resigned from TKO’s Board of Directors after a lawsuit was filed against him by former WWE employee Janel Grant. He cut ties with WWE by selling off the remaining shares.
